Aptos, CA – October 14, 2018 – Luxury Portfolio International®, the luxury home marketing division of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) joined forces with Mansion Global, the premier digital destination for compelling content about the global real estate market to host an intimate open home experience at a contemporary, yacht-inspired residence listed by Luxury Portfolio member, Alain Pinel Realtors. The event featured coastal cuisine and a panel discussion with experts which explored sustainability and ocean conservation.
The event was the second experience hosted by Luxury Portfolio and Mansion Global in 2018. For this event they sought out to highlight a theme that was prominent in the Aptos area. “Because the ocean was a huge part of this home experience, we wanted to incorporate an ocean preservation theme into the event,” said Stephanie Anton, president of Luxury Portfolio International. “One of our goals was to spark a discussion on how we can preserve the area surrounding this space and other oceanfront homes by being more conscious of our impact on the environment.”
A curated group of guests which included Mansion Global subscribers and residents of the Aptos area enjoyed a panel discussion moderated by Mae Cheng, editor-in-chief of Mansion Global which included insights from Margaret Spring, chief conservation officer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and sustainable cuisine prepared by Justin Cogley, executive chef of Aubergine at L'Auberge Carmel. The event highlighted an exceptional home and inspired a conversation on sustainable living in the luxury space.
